The Power Cap® Battery Lasts 90 to 120 Days
Invisible Fence® Brand uses a patented Power Cap® Battery in the Computer Collar® Receiver. A single Power Cap® Battery lasts approximately 90 to 120 days under normal use before having to be replaced. The variation usually depends on how often the pet gets close to the boundary and the collar activates warning tones; more tones equal more battery use.
To keep things simple and consistent, Invisible Fence® Brand recommends replacing the Power Cap® Battery every three months. This ensures your pet's collar is always operating optimally.

How to Replace the Battery
Battery replacement is straightforward. Use a coin to remove the Power Cap® unit from the collar by inserting it into the groove and turning it 45 degrees counterclockwise. Install the new battery by lining up the lugs with the grooves in the battery chamber and turning it clockwise 45 degrees until it's secure.
