Are there fees to be paid?
With an Invisible Fence® Brand dealership, there are no royalties or franchise fees.


How much of an investment is required up front? The first year?

It varies by market. Some dealerships require an investment as low as $20,000; factors such as geography, maturity of a market, and the assets being purchased will require a greater outlay. It’s always a good idea to have adequate funds for living expenses during the start-up phase of any business.


Will I have an exclusive marketing area?

Designated marketing areas are negotiable with that area’s distributor. Some markets support multiple Invisible Fence® Brand dealers; others just support one.


How much money can I make?

It’s entirely up to you. Your financial returns are based on your area, your marketing approach, and how hard you work. Please understand that FTC regulations prohibit us from making earnings claims.


Can I speak to an existing Invisible Fence
® Brand dealer?
During the exploration stage, we will direct you to other business owners who can tell you more about what to expect as an Invisible Fence® Brand dealer.


Are sales leads provided, or do I generate my own?

Both. We provide some leads collected through our national website, invisiblefence.com. We’ll also forward leads from our national/regional advertising campaigns. A large part of your business will be spent marketing and conducting lead generation efforts at the local level.


Is co-op marketing support available?

You’ll work closely with your distributor on developing your marketing plan; talk with your distributor about which co-op programs best fit your situation.


What qualifications do you look for in a dealer?

The most successful dealer candidates have a good work ethic, and a commitment to delivering good value. We look for proven business experience, good leadership skills, the ability to learn quickly, and an entrepreneurial spirit.

Bonus: Someone with direct selling experience who understands the sales process, and the importance of customer service.
